We Are Running

Week 3

January 23, 2008 · 2 Comments

First run of week 3 happened this morning – unfortunately it was indoors again due to the weather.  Fortunately, I was able to run next to Jen so we could suffer through it together.  We are up to 3 miles or 30 minutes per run now, and hopefully everyone is feeling good about that.  I’m still running for slightly less time during the week due to my concerns about IT syndrome.

I really needed a push from Jen to get to the gym this morning.  She’s good like that.  Hopefully the blog is doing the same for those of us who don’t live with a training partner.  Haven’t heard from anyone in a while, so maybe that isn’t the case.  What up, people?!

I was machine in Mexico. I ran about 4 of the 5 days I was there. That is with mexican hangover and all. new rbks are working out well, my back has stopped hurting after running…I have only focused on treadmill and start at 4.5 mph and vary as high as 7.5 for some intervals…I am concerned about running outside and impact on my knees…but look forward to giving it a shot…

awesome! you are my hero. running while away from home on business or vacation is super tough. nice work. and congrats on the new rbks … i might get some new trainers myself.

good to keep the speed varied on the treadmill – at least it keeps it interesting.

try not to overtrain – keep cross training to supplement the runs, or do a very slow run if you add an additional running day to the schedule.

    nice work!
